Nails Inc Covent Garden

Hey everyone! How has your week been? On Wednesday we had our food tasting for the wedding and it was so much fun. We tried a whole bunch of appetizers, some salads, and entrees. Everything was so yummy it will be hard to decide what food we want!

This weekend the fiancé and I are going to Montauk with his family. I recently got Nails Inc Covent Garden and thought it would be the perfect color for the beach. This color is a super bright red toned coral/pink. It looks much brighter in person than it does in photos. The formula was soooo nice and lovely to work with. It dries very quickly for a creme and has a gorgeous glossy finish. I'm wearing two coats here, but could have gotten away with one.

The seahorse was made using a vinyl from Polished Vino. It's a part of the summer variety set. I used a starfish on the other hand. I think it looks so cute for a beach weekend!

I'll be interested to see if this "gel effect" formula lasts longer than a regular polish. We'll see how it holds up at Montauk. Have a great weekend!

Julep Adrian

Hey everyone! I've been taking advantage of the start of my summer break to do some cleanup, baking, reading, etc. On Monday I went with my mom to Alstede Farms to pick strawberries. There were some beautiful sunflowers and I just had to snap a photo. Later I went to look at it and guess what I found? A ladybug right on one of the petals!

I was so inspired by this photo I just had to do some floral nail art. I used two coats of Julep Adrian as my base. It's a pale/pastel yellow creme. The formula is a little on the thick side, but it's pretty easy to work with. For the flowers I used Zoya Purity and OPI Suzi Without a Paddle. I recently received this dotting tool/nail brush combo from Born Pretty Store and it made doing this nail art a breeze! I used the brush side for the petals and the dotting tool to create the center of the flower.

Tomorrow we have our tasting for the wedding and I'm so excited! I'll definitely fill you in when I post next. Btw, when you place an order with BPS make sure you use my discount code ASYW10 for 10% off! Hope you all have a great rest of your week!

Julep Shannon & ILNP Chit Chat

Hey everyone! How was your week? Our last day of school was Wednesday and I have really been enjoying the start of summer break. It is much needed and all of us teachers deserve it!

My nails are a bit on the short side - I had so many poor broken nails after packing up my classroom. Hopefully they grow back quick so I can do some fun nail art! For now I'm wearing Julep Shannon, a pretty light green that's almost like a honeydew color. It's a silk finish, but I like to wear it with top coat. I had a feeling this would look good with ILNP Chit Chat on top and I was right! Such a pretty combination that looks perfect in sunlight.

Hope you have a great weekend!

Essie Butler Please

Hey everyone! How was your weekend? On Saturday we went to see Wonder Woman. It was soooo good! If you haven't seen it yet definitely go see it. We sat out at the pool on Sunday and enjoyed the beautiful weather. It made me excited for the upcoming summer break which is just a week away!

For today's mani I reached for Essie Butler Please, a vivid blue creme. I love how bright this polish is and how easy it is to apply. For some added fun I used ILNP Mega (X) to make polka dots. I've recently been loving my dotting tool/nail art brush from Born Pretty Store. It feels great in my hand - it's just heavy enough to feel like a quality tool but light enough to be very comfortable. I like that I can make different sized dots using one tool and they always come out perfect. The brush on the other end is an added bonus!

Leopard Print Nails

Hey everyone! How has your week been? We had a field trip earlier this week to Sandy Hook and it was definitely not a beach day, but the kids still had a good time. We're finally wrapping up the school year and I could not be happier for summer to get here.

Lately I've been wanting all the pastel/summery colors so today I'm wearing GlitterDaze Come Fly With Me. I really love this pale lavender creme and I know it will pop even more when I have my summer glow on. I wanted to do some stamping so I used this cute leopard print from one of my Born Pretty Store stamping plates. I love how fun this looks!

Hope you have a great weekend! Btw, when you place an order with BPS make sure you use my discount code ASYW10 for 10% off!
