Happy Mani Monday! How was your Thanksgiving weekend? The BF and I were driving all over the place to see both of our families, but we had a great time. We also ate a ton of delicious food, which means this week we eat much lighter in preparation for our December trip to Puerto Rico!
Today I'm wearing a polish that the BF's mom actually gave me over the weekend from a salon brand called Cindi Naturals. The shade is Gold Rush and it's a gorgeous metallic gold shimmer. It was a little patchy on the first coat but was completely opaque after the second. It dried super quickly and the finish is just gorgeous.
Hey everyone! Happy almost Thanksgiving! I figured I would post this now in case I don't have a chance to do it tomorrow. We have a half day of school tomorrow which will be a lovely way to start the four day weekend.
For my nails this year I of course wanted to use my cute little turkey again. This time I used Zoya Margo and a glitter accent with Julep Jane and Autumn. So excited about how it came out!
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! See you next week.
Hey everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was jam packed. My brother and I went to see one of our favorite bands, Guster, on Saturday night and then on Sunday we went to see Mockingjay part 2. I wasn't super impressed by the movie unfortunately, but the concert was great!
Today I've finally got some nail art going on. I started with OPI Give Me Space as my base. This one is a deep scattered blue holo, which is kind of hard to see in the pictures but if you get this one out in the sun it's gorgeous! Since these polishes are from the Starlight Collection, I went with some twinkling stars using OPI Comet Closer. Not gonna lie guys, I only did the stars on one hand. Sorry not sorry! I think it came out pretty cool.
The full Starlight Collection features 18 shades that range from classic to cosmic. It includes everything from subtle shimmer to all-out sparkle! The Starlight Collection is available now. You can check out the rest of the polishes here or for purchase at Ulta.com. Hope you all have a great start to your week! xoxo, Brooke
Hey everyone! I recently received some Hask hair products and have been using them for the past week so I could give you my full and honest review.
Btw, is that bag not just so cute?!
"Are color treatments, blow drying, and hot irons leaving your hair lifeless and drab? We feel your pain! That's why Keratin is a key ingredient in HASK products. Keratin Protein is the stuff your hair, skin, and nails are made of. No wonder it's so powerful and restorative for your hair. Keratin revives, restores, calms and strengthens parched, frizzy locks-wiping out the effects of heat, humidity and over-styling (basically helping your hair look and feel its best). What can't Keratin do, you ask? Hold the curling iron for you, but that's about it. Making HASK Keratin Protein products a part of your daily beauty routine can help revitalize and condition that hair of yours, all while sealing in moisture and shine!"

Keratin Smoothing Shine Treatment Softens and Renews Free of: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors "Give damaged, over-processed hair a miracle makeover with HASK Keratin Protein Smoothing Shine Oil. This lightweight, alcohol-free instantly absorbing oil provides a gorgeous shine with no oily residue. Infused with hydrolyzed keratin to smooth and reduce frizz, this oil penetrates hair to leave frizzy, dry hair soft, smooth and incredibly shiny." The verdict: I want to start by saying that after the first time I used the shampoo and conditioner, the BF could not stop touching my hair. He loved how soft it was! (As did I). I noticed less fly aways and frizz after using these products, and my hair looked shinier and healthier. I was very worried about using the shine treatment, as my hair is naturally oily, but after a full day my hair definitely was not greasy! The last product I tested out was the deep conditioner. It was a lovely treat for my hair, though probably not something I would work into my usual routine. Too lazy lol let's be honest. I can't wait to check out some of the other products in the Hask line! You can learn more about these products on haskbeauty.com. They have a whole range for all types of hair! So what do you think? Will you be giving any of these products a try? Let me know! xoxo, Brooke Disclaimer: This post was powered by BrandBacker. I received these products for free from Hask in exchange for my honest review.
Hey everyone! I haven't posted in forever, things at school have just been so busy. Happy to have painted nails again for sure.
I finally pulled out Marc Jacobs Petra again, totally forgot how gorgeous it is! Petra is a dirty bronze metallic that shifts from silvery plum to a gold burgundy depending on the light. I can't say enough how much I love the Marc Jacobs formula and the packaging.
Hoping to do some nail art at the end of the week! And a hair product review still to come.
Hey everyone! How was your Halloweekend? We had a few people over and went to the Biergarten next to our apartment. My friend helped me pick out a hat at the mall so I wore that and some flash tattoos haha. Instant Halloween costume! Even though I didn't really dress up, it was fun seeing other people come into the bar with costumes.
For today's mani I used Chanel Taboo, which is so lovely but never wants to show its beauty on camera! I realized that Julep Betty (on my ring finger) totally matches the way Taboo looks in the bottle. Loving this combo!
