OPI Mod About You

Hey everyone! How was your weekend? I tried to enjoy every second since it was the end of my spring break and school is back in session :( The good news is that June is just around the corner which means summer! I'm so looking forward to that.

Today I'm sharing this pretty sparkly mani that is so simple to recreate using any color combo. I started with two coats of OPI Mod About You, a gorgeous light pink creme. The first coat was a tad streaky, but evened out nicely with the second coat. For my glitter near the cuticle I used Essie Set In Stones, applied with a small detail brush. Any glitter or metallic would have worked for this. Gold or even rose gold would be beautiful! Just use what you have.

Hope you have a great week!

Zoya Cadence

Hey everyone! How was your weekend? We went to see the cherry blossoms in Branchbrook Park on Saturday with my family and then had a delicious lunch at Hobby's Deli in Newark. Sunday was a clean up/laundry day. I actually wrote this post while my husband watched Game of Thrones because I'm not interested (sorry not sorry).

I recently received my Zoya Earth Day order, which is still going on until the end of April. You can get 6 polishes for $30, so that's 50% off, plus free shipping. Mine came about a week after ordering! I've had Everly and Cadence on my wish list since the winter holo trio came out so I picked those up, plus Fern from the new spring collection. The other three polishes were for my mother-in-law.

I knew I wanted to wear Cadence as soon as I saw it because it's so springy! I would describe it as a true holographic pink. I needed two coats to achieve opacity. Zoya does some of the prettiest holos and I love how smooth the formula is. The ones I currently have are darker colors so I'm happy to have a couple of brighter shades for spring/summer.

Hope you have a great week!

xoxo,
